One for one salad bowls One of my go to healthy bowl. They have a one for one deal for lull periods which is go worth — $11 for two very hearty bowls. My go to bowl orders is the portobello mushroom (crusted portobello with cheese) which is so juicy. With pasta & broccoli (mala flavoured) & corn cucumber salsa and the carrots or soft boiled egg.

Yummy food Recommended place to have dinner. Food is delicious and services are good. Staff is patient to wait for me to make a decision on the various options available.

Lamb Shank so much goodness packed into 1 plate. the meat slid off the bone effortlessly and was super succulent. mixed with its special spice and herbs sauce which was so unique and delectable. the blue pea rice was also very tasty and fragrant. finished the last bite wanting for more

Bulgogi Beef Bowl ($8.80) Pleasantly surprised at how good this was. Beef was tender, well-seasoned and fragrant. Rice was well-soaked in the sauce too.

Salmon Mentaiko Don You can't order this with Burpple as it's the more exp don in the menu ($8.50). Generous with the mentaiko, fish size is acceptable, their rice sometimes a little hard but overall tasty

Burpple Approved! Gogiyo has several outlets islandwide but their Toa Payoh outlet is located in a food court on the 2nd floor of an industrial building along Braddell Road. For around $7 to $8, you get a bowl of rice topped with a generous serving of chicken teriyaki, beef bulgogi or kimchi pork, and an onsen egg. And guess what, you get to enjoy 1-for-1 #burpplebeyond deals for selected donburis. We enjoyed their kimchi pork don. The portions were big and the meats tasty. Yes, it is kinda tweaked to suit our local palate (i.e. sweeter and more savoury marinades) but in terms of pricing, it is really worthwhile!

Scallop and Prawn Pasta This dish is filled with fresh seafood goodness and seems like a crowd favourite among the reviews posted online. This dish is a little salty for me but nevertheless it is still a great plate of Al Dente pasta. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Standard Drop Tried Marmalade Pantry’s sticky date pudding after 2 years and standard has dropped. It’s still decent but could be better. A shame.

Big Breakfast & Crab Linguine Used Burpple 1-1 deal! Big breakfast - 9.5/10 Crab Linguine - 9/10 There was no GST or service charge here! really worth it especially with Burpple :)

Prawn Aglio Olio The Prawn Aglio Olio ($16) is the bomb - the tiger prawns are huge, crunchy and succulent, and the al dente linguine tossed in olive oil, garlic confit, mushroom, chilli and Italian parsley is very aromatic. Love this!

Steep’s Breakfast Steep’s Breakfast ($19) comes with sourdough toast, eggs, turkey bacon, herb sausage, avocado, sautéed mushroom, mixed greens, tater tots and roasted tomato. This is a very hearty big breakfast and I love the variety found in one plate.

Today's Special Cake Today's Special Cake ($5) I went to there around 3 p.m. for matcha roll cake and almost near to the closing time but she alr sold out half of her daily stocks for cake. I noticed that most of them just collect the cake for celebration around 3 to 4 p.m. only. So if you want to try her cake and u can contact her directly for cake reservation or coming around opening hours for fresh daily stocks in cake instead. hmmm today's special cake is like dark chocolate cream cake but the taste is not that strong and the cake and cream's taste really quite lighter than I thought that so I got disappointed when matcha roll cake is sold out and didn't intend to get too strong taste in the cake.

Strawberry Roll [$5.50] This Strawberry Roll had a lot more cream than the Matcha Roll ($5.50) which gave it much better ratio. Similarly, the cake texture was soft and fluffy, while the cream used here was fresh and light. The strawberry flavour is super subtle though, with two to three slices of strawberry within. It’s probably not be for you if you’re looking for something much stronger in the fruity flavour.

Matcha Roll [$5.50] Got ourselves Matcha and Strawberry Rolls from The Pound, a very humble bakery cafe tucked in Sultan Plaza by a friendly Korean owner-baker. Came wanting to try the Matcha and Black Sesame but they ran out of the latter. The Matcha Roll was a lovely treat. The chiffon-like cake was fluffy soft and layered with matcha cream, topped with a matcha white chocolate glaze. A little sweet but not too much, with the bittersweet notes still present. Definitely wished there was a lot more cream for better ratio, but it was a thick roll for $5.50 - not bad a price tag considering its quality.
