Wanted to get just thai milk tea flavour, but since I can, I tried both coconut and the former. The soft serve is nice! Coconut beats Thai Milk Tea though. π€

However, our timing wasn't right because they ran out of the coffee which I wanted to try. It's a cozy little cafe that shares the same space as The Working Capitol which seems to be affiliated with them. Deduced this based on the number of people working there, meeting their clients?

Good thing is that, there's no queue (at all) at 5pm+ on weekday nights.
The automated self ordering system is fuss free. Pay, get a ticket, pass to staff, sit and wait. Quality wise, there's enough reviews to compare to the original Michelin starred restaurant in Tokyo.

Why didn't I try this easier? And only when my fellow OETI coursemate/good friend suggest that I do so ASAP then I made my move. Oh, what to order? Just took a look around the tables and ordered the most 'ordered' item.
This Tsukemen is good, but I finished the bonito and sardine gravy too fast! Maybe I coated the noodles too much? π€ Didn't want to make a fuss so I settled for the soup blanched gravy instead π₯

It's also a happy problem when there isn't enough rice to go with it! The wasabi dipping sauce is ama-ZING! And the yoke coating pieces of beef and rice is something you can experience, but can't describe when you are eating.
The millefeuille katsudon is good, but not as amazing as some people describe. Ma Maison is better.
Question is, how did a rice specialty concept end up in Ramen Champion?

In case anyone cry fowl, it's really soba noodles, the likes you get from yakisoba. Stir fried with Japanese grains, add wok hei, pieces of meat, shoyu and topped with pickled ginger. It was enough to make a few heads turn sans the aroma. All this for less than $7! Value for money!

The sixth concept (on my list) from Keisuke brings us ramen swimming in lobster broth. In my attempt to recreate the lobster bisque, I ordered their signature Rich Lobster Broth Ramen Special [S$20.90] (all toppings please π) with "ζΏγ" settings.
Within minutes, my eyes feasted upon the dark orange concoction that arrived onto our table.
What do they have? Let's see... Prawn Dumplings, Chicken Chashu, Pork Chashu, Minced Prawn Balls, Bamboo Shoots, negi, black fungus, ajitama π and the standard piece with a standard piece of nori. I'm bringing my mum here on my next visit!
Another crowd pleaser is the Chicken Nanban [S$9.80], which is basically Tori Karaage with Mayonnaise sauce. The Mayo was made on the spot by the staff, from the first step of obliterating the hard boiled egg, to the mixing of the Nanban sauce. On every bite, delectable sauce burst out everywhere! π

It's $1.80 each now and you get the box free when you buy more than 3 tarts. No longer need to dine in to buy them. Menu offering has changed, I can't find my satay beef topping for macaroni now. π’
Honolulu (ζͺε³Άεε‘ι€ εΊ) from Hong Kong opened a branch at Centrepoint here to much fanfare and queue, of course. This came just as rival Tai Cheong wrapped up their pop up store, which eventually led to a permanent store in place of Saybons by the time I write this.
During the initial period, one has to dine in to purchase something before you can get the egg tarts. It's $1.70 each then and the box costs $0.50. All these conditions arks me so I just made one trip there and ordered minimally. π

I didn't do it justice while it was around, choosing instead to eat at Maki-san and Popeye's. I blame it on the location, cos I hardly go to The Cathay, and there are other cinemas around with more extensive box offices.
The tebasaki was awesome, so is the gyoza which was what caught my attention to patronise Misato. And the dons that comes with literal layers of eggs, colourful ebikos on top of eggs, and another egg on top!
With the lease ending July 2016, we arrived during the last few days of operation and tried as much as we can. Just when I have decided to get the Misato Bear Paw Anmitsu, the staff told me they sold the last one to someone who came after us! The luck! π’

It's a little on the sweet side, but overall very homely, something a mother would cook for her children whilst the autumn wind blows.
Notice the cute chopsticks holder, because I was so tempted to just take this home. All the more when Misato is closing soon, so why should they need it π
As we had our dinner, we noticed Misato's diverse brand of customers, from students, to adults, family with young children, and an occasional security guard. I am envious because you guys have probably known Misato more than me.
When, and if, Misato ever opens again the the future, do give this place a chance to impress your palate π
