Highly recommend the two bowls we got - truffle beef bowl and unagi bowl! Ingredients and toppings were generous and rice was served piping hot. Will be back!

Enjoyed my time at Tachinomiya! laid back izakaya vibes with a healthy range of menu items. Service was also exceptional despite the slight crowd. Will be back!

Top picks:
Bacon asparagus
Shishito peppers
Salmon sashimi
potato salad

Laid back vibes with excellent service. Menu items were really thoughtfully put together - we tried the PIPES burger and the WTFat pasta and both were so satisfying to finish. As a huge fan of japanese-fusion concepts this really hit the spot for me!!

Had a few of their signatures including yu sheng ceviche (pictured), barbecued pork cheek, chilli prawns and te kah bee hoon, all of which were well thought out and well executed dishes. My favourite had to be their barbecued pork cheek - grilled pork thai style with a variety of condiments! Big kudos to the chef and his team for getting so many dishes right. Would totally recommend this place for phase three get togethers!

Easy 5/5 experience trying all sorts of new Russian dishes. My favourites have got to be the salted herring salad and the salmon cream cheese crepes. Would definitely be back with my friends!

Dinner for 2 at Kucina. Service was good and ambience was pretty cosy. We started with a nice bowl of Chopino (signature seafood broth), followed by the Al Granchio pasta and ended off with their La Barca Funghi e Tartufo, which had to be the star of the meal - creamy mushroom sauce with truffle pate and cheese, held together by a wonderfully textured bread. Happy to have found a nice Italian place I can bring my Muslim friends to!

Cosy dinner for two last week here at Coucou. It was my first time trying the Malakoff (a wonderfully fried ball of Gruyere, of Russian origin) served with a side of Coucou’s signature salad. Also tried their Rosti (w veal sausage) and Cordon Bleu, both were pretty impressive, especially given the luscious onion confit that was served aside the Rosti. Highlight of our meal had to be dessert - swiss meringue with red fruits and chantilly cream - so good, i’d literally go back just for it.

If you want to have a taste of traditional Swiss fare (and really, really great dessert), then this place is a must try.

! Ordered a plate each of Onglet and Deckler, accompanied with Cream Kale and Truffle fries. Managed to snag a counter seat that gave us a view of the cooking process too! Onglet was smoky and juicy, surprisingly tender. Go for the Deckler if you prefer extra fatty cuts. Ended off our meal with the Basque Burnt Cheesecake which was absolutely delicious - definitely would recommend for cheesecake lovers. Chill vibes overall, makes for a cosy yet classy dining experience :)
