Ordered the Hitsumabushi 'set' ($29.50) at Man Man Unagi restaurant. There's 3 different ways to consume the Hitsumabushi. Feel free to ask the friendly staff there :)

Super delish unagi eel with slight burnt flavour from the grilling 🖒

Man Man is probably my fav out of the 3 unagi specialty restaurants in Singapore.
Do head down early (we went down to queue at around 530pm to get in at 6pm when they open) otherwise you might have to wait 1.5h in line (this happened to me when i visited them at 630pm once)

Honestly don't find the taste of the laksa super wow or anything, but still above average and I guess the claypot adds to the gimmicky / wow factor 😂

Small claypot laksa - $4

Super pretty cake and also quite decent tasting (for a pretty cake!)

Got this on the house because it was my birthday week! :)

3 scoops of ice cream - roasted pistachio, sea salt gula melaka and earl grey lavender 🙌 + waffles ($13.20)
They are currently running a promotion- 3 scoops of ice cream for the price of 2 on Wednesdays :)

Waffles were super good - crispy on the outside and slightly fluffy on the inside just the way I love it
Their ice creams are also really good and fragrant!!

V affordable and yummy handmade pasta with Italian meatballs! I really liked it when it first came out piping hot from the kitchen. However, as I ate along and as the dish cooled, the pasta started to stick together quite a bit. Nonetheless, it isn't a major issue for me.
I also like how all they dont charge service charge and gst, making this place one of the more affordable + good pasta places I know 😊

The service by the staff was top-notch when i visited for dinner during the weekend. When i ordered truffle fries and a burger, the cashier suggested that I pick something else as we might end up having too much thickcut fries. I eventually stuck with my initial choice despite his suggestions (burger cravings) and he offered to change my thick cut fries to curly fries instead so that we have different taste/kinds of fries.

3 Cheese Bacon Burger: 4/5 - the bacon is really thick and juicy and the patty was nicely done + 3 types of cheese = yummy

Truffle fries: 2/5 - I've had better truffle fries elsewhere. I find the truffle taste to be mild and I personally prefer shoestring fries as they tend to be crispier. The portion is huge for 2pax though.

Jewel coffee has always been popular amongst the office workers in the CBD area.
Ordered a skinny flat white ($6) and a iced mocha ($7.50)
Pretty huge portion for the price (for the flat white at least) and even more value for money if you use the 1 for 1 deal on Entertainer just like we did!
You get to choose your choice of beans (Brazil or Ethiopia) as well.
