Finally back for more!
This time though, the soup was less flavourful as I would have liked, and failed to deliver that strong herbal kick. Still a pretty good bowl of soup noodles, but slightly disappointing after such a great experience the last time.
A great hidden gem for cheap and tasty authentic Vietnamese street food, Quan Co Ba in Sim Lim Square's Broadway Food Court serves up a mean spicy noodle soup.
Slurp down slippery rice vermicelli noodles from a piping hot bowl of sweet and fragrant beef broth whose spice gradually creeps up on you, culminating in a tongue tingingly pleasant fireness in the mouth, while the beef itself is a combination of tender meat chunks and chewier gelatinous tendon.
