This hawker centre is a very small one with about 10 stalls. Hidden from all the hype and hard anything around. So going there will be challenging unless you drive.
Edward started Eatz Vadai 2 months back at this Bird-Dont-Lay-Egg place. Rental is of course very low and so will be human traffic. Left his corporate travel job and started this together venture with another partner. The recipe he's using is bought over from the retired Legendary Gordon Koh's famous Vadai.
The Vadai tasted crispy leaning a little to crunchy side. So must eat it whilr it's hot. The insides could fluff a bit more for me but the taste is really good. The blend of curry leaves and onions goes very well and now I can understand why they sold so well in Gordon's previous pubs. Beers with Vadai, cant go wrong!
Each Vadai goes for $1 with or without prawns. Indians don't like with prawns and eat with yogurt. We Singaporeans love it with small prawns and raw green chilli, which you can help yourself with.
So go check it out, support local and hawkerpreurs! This is truly a hidden gem!
