First time trying their savoury food menu; wasn't quite impressed with the desserts I had here previously. A place I would consider for a quick wanton noodle fix, although the $8.30 price tag (with a bowl of soup on the side; not in frame) isn't what everyone would be comfortable with especially with its quality. Sure enough, the wantons are decent especially for how plump they are and the prawns were relatively fresh, but the noodles were quite lacklustre; a little too chewy and needed a little bit more cooking time and seemed to lack any sauce hence a little plain; get their oil-based dried chili which is surprisingly close to Crystal Jade's (just less seeds here) to add more flavour (though the canister had more oil than chili when we went). The prawn roe adds a little umami flavour to the wanton noodles, but isn't really detectable once you mix the noodles. It's not too bad, but it takes a little bit more to convince me to pay $8.30 for a plate of wanton noodles again especially for how the noodles are cooked.
