Best of the night was the Tsubozuke Karubi, 24 hour pot marinated beef that was a flavour bomb with the caramelization from the grill to complement the fatiness of the cut.

The Yaki Shabu, sirloin with sukiyaki egg dip and black truffle was reminiscent of the unforgettable experience at Jumbo Yakiniku Japan, probably the closest I could get here.

Rare chef recommended special cuts included the prized Zabuton that once again delivered with its exquisitely balanced marbling.

The surprise was the stone pot beef rice, which I didn't expect much out of but the fragrance and taste infused into the rice left me wanting more...
