One of the newest items on Gyoza-Ya's menu is this fusion Gyoza which they have smartly incorporated the flavours of the favourite octopus balls largely found in Pasar Malam stalls into their signature Gyozas. These Gyozas are similar to the pan-fried ones that they serve — the same chunky fillings within the skin with its crisp underside; only difference here seemed to be the Takoyaki sauce with that vinegar-ish aftertaste and kewpie mayo topped with Katsuobushi. It replicates Takoyaki so well, I would say if one ever craves for Takoyaki simply for the flavours of the sauces and Katsuobushi together with Gyoza, this is exactly what you should go for.
