Before the Western Food Stall shifted to the present Maxwell Food Centre. The Stall Owner started his business from Tanglin Halt Food Centre followed by Margret Drive Commonwealth Food Centre. Margret Dr Commonwealth Food Centre Last operation Date is on 30th June 2011. Most of the Food Stall Owner moved to Meiling Hawker Centre intially the western food stall supposed to move to Meiling Food Centre. The Stall Owner Decided that since Maxwell Hawker is a conducive place & attracted many office worker so he shifted to Maxwell Hawker after Margret Dr Hawker closed down.
