@sumkeefood is an air-conditioned tzi char restaurant with outlets in Telok Blangah and Jurong. Their signature items are the curry fish head and "ultraman" chicken.

For those who like their curry lemak, you will definitely fall in love with Sum Kee's curry fish head. The gravy is fragrant and perfect with a big bowl of rice. Their fish head was kinda on the small side though. My suggestion is to perhaps order two if you have more than 4 pax dining.

Their 咸蛋超人鸡 is essentially popcorn chicken with salted egg sauce. I would have preferred either a stronger flavoured or more sauce to go with the bite-sized chicken. Not a big fan of this.

I am not a big fan of pumpkin but their tofu in pumpkin sauce was surprisingly tasty with a subtle earthy sweet flavour.

As with all tzi char restaurants, Sum Kee has its fair share of hits and misses. It can get terribly crowded and noisy during mealtimes but it is great in terms of price and quality of food for big family gatherings.
