I decided to try another chicken rice store at the Toa Payoh Food Alley, this time going to Ping Wei Eatery house. The set that i got was their Single Person Set for $5.50, but because i added a braised egg the total became $6.20.

Chicken - The chicken was fair in standard. Not too dry and a decent amount for what I paid for. Nothing special but it's decent enough.

Rice & bean spouts- Rice wasn't overly dry though it wasn't very fragrant either. Bean sprouts were ordinary but a surprising amount was served. Just a pass for both.

Soup - I appreciate that the soup given wasn't the usual msg filled soup that you usually get. It was cabbage soup though it was still a bit bland.

All in all, I would come back again because even though the food was ordinary, i was really hungry and they served quite a large set meal! Come if you're feeling hungry and don't mind regular food!
