Some are good (@menya_shishido, Menya Hanabi, Sourakuya, @Herserlef etc) but the majority aren't really worth going to (Pho Vietz, for instance). We recently visited Butterfly Desserts after much prompting from our intern and after three tasty creations, we're inclined to slot it in the former category rather than the latter. .

Case in point: the Chocolate Banana (bottom left) features a delightful chocolate dome that cracks open into a fun little textural interplay blending a rich chocolate panache with a caramel chocolate chantilly and, well, banana. We love the perfect thickness of the dome. We like the pleasing flavour pairing. And we'll likely return for the low-key dining-room ambience. Bet it's a fantastic place to lounge about with desserts when it's a sweltering hot Saturday outside. As always, expect a full review soon on our blog. .
