Newly opened The Ice Cream Bar SG is located along the popular stretch of Kampong Bahru! Serving you a majority of alcoholic ice cream flavours, the ice cream bar is the perfect spot for alcoholics & dessert lovers alike!

We ordered their Buttermilk Waffles with a triple scoop ($17.60) consisting of Bailey Brownies, Chewy Coffee Whisky & Guinness Pistachio. Do note that premium flavours are $1 more & double premium are $2 more.

First, let's talk about the waffles. The waffles are surprisingly crispy of the edges and fluffy on the inside! As with buttermilk waffles, there is a slight sweetness & saltiness to it, making it a great pairing with the ice cream flavours we chose.

In general, all three flavours were well-balanced in terms of alcohol to non-alcoholic flavour ratio. the alcohol flavours was not overpowering & when paired with the waffles, the non-alcoholic flavour seems to shine through a lil' more.

Of the lot, the one that stood out to me would be the Guinness Pistachio. When you think Guinness, you think of that smooth chocolate-y mouthful. That's what I got, but with an additional nuttiness from the pistachios. So so good!

Will definitely be back to try out the other flavours!
