Can never resist the sweet Japanese omelette when I see one, but I guess I'll be able to resist this one after all. Though it was soft and moist, it didn't quite possess that sweet, umami flavour of a good dashi stock. The jet black squid ink tempura ebi looked really tempting, but I was craving unagi that day. Safe choice methinksβ€”it wasn't the bony kind and didn't taste fishy at all. The real letdown was the mushroom rice though (+$2), which was dry and rather bland. The only thing I'll return for would be their delicious Choux Puffs.
