Just had to come to try the highly raved, affordable version of DTF. Be prepared to queue. Though the shop only opens for business at 5, the queue starts forming way earlier than that. With around 12 people in front of us, it was a gruelling 2hours wait before we had our orders taken and another half an hour before our orders were served😅 Nevertheless the pork ribs fried rice was really worth the wait. True enough, there was wok hey tasted in the rice and the Chef really did a great job frying because I could taste the egginess in each grain of rice! Unfortunately the pork rib was a little underseasoned and too thin. For that, JuHao serves a better version of the pork ribs in my opinion. As for the Dan Dan noodle, the peanut sauce was more on the savoury side as compared to the sweeter version of DTF’s. Having the seaweed salad added a refreshing note to that night’s spread. Pot stickers were ordered too. The size was rather small but there was a fair amount of soup in them. I was not too sure but the dough kept sticking to my teeth when I ate them. That got a little on my nerves but overall it was a good meal:) For a DTF substitute, I think JuHao fares better 👍🏻
