Simmered in the thick slightly spicy tomato gravy were two eggs which had yolks that're still runny when I broke them. Eating this with my fingers was such a novelty - tearing off chunks of the warm Turkish "pide" bread to dip in the rich sauce.
The two sides of a salad (comprising of tiny cubes of cucumber, tomatoes and onion) and "tahini" dip (a smooth, creamy sesame paste) rounded off my vegetarian meal nicely.
