Great ambience and a wide selection of affordable izakaya food.
The kani gratin ($8) was creamy and had a generous amount of mentaiko without being overly rich and the ika ‘kuro’-age ($12) had big, fresh pieces of squid coated in savoury squid ink batter fried to perfection.
Highly recommend the sake. I ordered a standard glass of sweet sake ($7), and it was very smooth and easy to drink even for those who don’t drink much.
