The char siew had that sweet, smoky caramelized taste, and so fatty that it just melted in my mouth with so much flavour (remember fat = flavour). The siew yoke was crispy and tasty but the char siew was still the star by miles. Not a lot to say about the noodles unfortunately. It was decent, but definitely it wasn't concocted to be the star of the dish. The base sauce was a more light soy taste, which I appreciated as it gave way to the excellent char siew. This place is also known for their herbal soups that are brewed in house in huge pots, but as I was dining alone it seemed too much to get soup as well.
