Spicy fire chicken with tteok-bokki, baked with cheese.
Cheesy, stringy goodness which complemented really well with the supposedly overwhelming spiciness set by the buldak sauce. The cheesiness seemed to have help take away some of the spice, but this dish still packs the right amount of punch. Enjoyed the overall flavour of it, as well as the combination of Korean rice cakes and chicken. As an iza-bar, Taan seems to offer a ‘tapas’ selection of Japanese and Korean dishes that is best shared with friends. Similarly, I believe that this dish is best shared, especially with its huge amount of cheesiness and spice!
