Read rave reviews on this french toast so decided to have a go myself despite hearing how scorching hot their outdoor seats are (and yes it was).

Unfortunately this was pretty dry on the inside. Wish they had used a little more egg to make it moist. The sweetish-sourish berries compote and ice cream helped, which we mopped up with the bread.
