With great dedication, the stall cooks each portion one at a time hence a seemingly short queue still warrants a wait. The #charkwayteow here is different from the typical ones fried with a lot of sweet black sauce. It had more distinct fluffy egg taste and came with lots of fresh cockles and crunchy beansprouts. Not sure if the $1 extra meant 2 prawns cause the $3 order had none. There was also no squid (compared to what I’ve seen online) and could do with slightly more wok hei (maybe cause ours was an off day & cooked by an auntie not the uncle)
