I wasn't well enough last night to enjoy all of what was served for Christmas dinner. I got a taste of the steak and cereal prawns but I didn't get to taste the highlight of the dinner table, which was the Turkey. I didn't even have the appetite and the energy to last until the dessert came out. So since this is my free day from work, I'm enjoying the spoils of what I missed last night. Funny stories of the family's parlor games, the kids excitement over opening their gifts...and dessert! For the b-fast I'm enjoying Aunt Beth's version of Lola's Apple Pie, ala mode...my version includes the Hershey's hard shell topping :)) indulgence will kill me!
