Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood under a block of HDB flats, Holy Cow sells extremely affordable waffles starting at $6.50 for buttermilk waffles and a scoop of ice cream.

I had myself the charcoal waffles which was slightly more pricey with a scoop at $9.50. The Sabai Sabai caught my eye with its catching green hues and the fact that it is Thai green Tea flavoured. I previously tried the Thai Milk Tea flavour which blew my mind and this did not let me down. If only it surpassed the latter.

The green tea flavour was omnipotent but did not override the natural and raw tasting tea flavour of the ice cream. The essence of the green tea was so distinct and punctuated, possessing a subtly bitter aftertaste of the green tea whilst keeping the sweetness in check positively.

The waffles was delicious. Crispy and fluffy and oh so airy. The only gribe i had was that the waffle did not make me feel full. But that is so insignificant compared to how gorgeous tasting the ice cream and waffles were. 10 out of 10 will return.
