You can hardly miss the long snaking queue stretching out at a corner of Jurong West 505 Food Centre for a plate of economic bee hoon at Na Bao Wen topped with their own deep fried meatballs.

The bee hoon is luscious and tasty but the star of the show is the meatballs without a doubt. I personally prefer their meat patties (肉饼) which have a slightly stronger five-spice flavour and a less 'porky' taste though that ultimately boils down to a question of personal preference.

The best of all, it's truly economical as a plate of beehoon with cabbage, egg and meatballs cost us less than $5!
