Drizzled with a blend of sauces and served with a little scoop of minced ginger on the side, this plate of half chicken looks no different from those served at typical Singaporean eateries. Yet, its taste is a touch above the rest. Chicken breast was succulent and moist, bursting with juices the second my teeth sank in. The flesh itself also pulled away from the bone easily and was well complemented by their in-house garlic chili, which provided a nice punch.

But the best part of it all? It’s located at Compass One, a heartland mall directly linked to Seng Kang MRT. Feels great knowing such good chicken rice is just a short journey away!
