Ginataang Langka in Coconut Mik. Place 1 kilo jackfruit, sliced, in a saucepan and add enough water to cover. Boil for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. Add 2 tbsps cooking oil to a preheated pan. Saute 5 cloves minced garlic, 1 tbsp sliced ginger, and 1 medium-sized sliced onion until soft and fragrant. Add 1/2 kilo pork kasim, cut into 1/2-inch cubes; cook for 5 minutes. Add boiled jackfruit and 3 cups coconut milk. Boil until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Add sliced chilies and serve hot. This is my childhood favorite, with lots and lots of chilies. Unfortunately I didn't know how to cook this until I bought the april issue of @yummyph .
