Had an 8course dinner at One Prawn & Co. Service was great; we were constantly being told what the dish served was about, and (if relevant), how to eat it. Food quality was really good as well. My favourite parts of the meal were the Seafood Medley, Soft Shell Crab as well as the Prawns. The Seafood Medley was quite interesting in flavour, notably the scallop with XO sauce. Generally, the flavour profile of the medley was aligned with what I liked. The Soft Shell Crab was great as well. The tempura soft shell crab was not too oily nor heavy, and the red onions were really sweet, and they complemented each other well. The Prawns were really tender as well, and I really liked the Japanese Pumpkin puree, which was sweet but not cloying. It went really well with the grilled prawns and the cereal bits. The Lobster Poached Rice portion was really generous, and was also very fragrant, but the bisque could be too heavy for some people. Dessert was nice as well, but the gelato was a little too sweet, with an intense honey flavour. Overall, I would say that the 8-course meal was really fantastic, and I would definitely come back here again. Some other favourites of mine include the Squid (love the salsa verde) and the Amberjack with its Miso Aioli. This is perfect for a special occasion, and is definitely worth the price given the quality and quantity of seafood used.
