On my second visit to Chuan Kee Seafood, with the exception of these Prawn Balls ($10), the dishes I ordered for our family dinner, were those I'd tried and enjoyed previously with Burppler @blueskiescottonclouds and her colleagues.

Slightly bigger than a ping-ping ball, and fried for a crunchy exterior, these prawn balls were slightly mushy within as they're formed from a mixture of minced prawns and tofu. For the dip, what you get is the same sweet dark sauce used in "popiah" but I personally preferred eating them with the sambal chilli.
