Went to Doughnut Shack at Whampoa on a Sunday afternoon. Drove there but took awhile to find the place as it’s a little deep in & we were trying the find the way in. Honestly not very accessible for people to go.

There were a few people queuing in front of me outside of the shop as the shop only let one person (or one grp) in at one time. Waited for at least 20mins in the heat before I could enter the shop.

Bought all flavours of bombolinis to try because I’ve never tried bombolinis before. The more you buy, the cheaper it is, so we bought 10. Each costs $2.80 so we paid $28.

Flavours bought:
• Creme bulee 7/10
• Banofee Cream 7.5/10
• Donutello 8/10
• Azuki Kinako Cream 7/10
• Pistachio 8/10
• Dulce De Leche Cheesecake 7.5/10
• Peanut butter jelly 7.5/10
• Strawberry milk ganache 8/10
• Summer berries chocolate donut 8/10

The flavoured fillings were a lot inside but the dough of the donut wasn’t very tender, like when you bite into it, it’s not very soft and chewy, it’s a little hard. Perhaps I’ve tried better doughnuts such as Krispy Kreme’s and am comparing to their donuts which are really soft and chewy. Definitely prefer Krispy Kreme’s donuts given that it’s the same price. I will not go back to buy it, for the taste & for queuing in the heat.
