Not that business was bad for them - but the “kiasu” me wanted to beat the queue - so decided to head over just as they were about to open for business at 11:30am. I’m glad I went early coz who knows how long I would have to queue if I didn’t.

Anyway, since I’ve already tried their Kiwami Wagyu Sukiyaki Don before - I chose the cheaper US Prime Beef Sukiyaki Rice Bowl this time. Although the US Prime Beef didn’t give you the melt-in-your-mouth texture that the wagyu beef gave - it was still good especially when the beef was cooked to medium rare - and soaked with that sweet and savoury sukiyaki sauce. And you know what I’m going to do at my next visit - think I’ll add on more beef...!!

As usual, their set came with a side of handmade sesame tofu in a Dashi Ankake sauce which I really liked, an onsen egg, Aka miso soup (Red Miso) and free flow of assorted pickles.
