Hidden gem in the West serving affordable and decent Vietnamese fare (think pho and banh mi from $4) in a hawker centre.

The cloudy soup broth was tasty with strong extraction of beef flavours. Would suit those who enjoy richer soups, although personal preference would be for more fresh greens and herbs to balance the sweetness and saltiness. The pho noodles were on the softer side.

Went with the special beef pho which included beef slices, beef flank, and two beef balls. The beef slices were over cooked and tough despite us removing them from the hot soup shortly after being served (would probably opt for the medium rare beef pho next time), but enjoyed the tender beef flank and juicy meatballs.

Not the best but highly worth it at this price point! Will be back ☺️
