We added the plum porridge (+$1), in addition to the set. But I think the plum rice was the clear winner!! 👍👍 separately, the braised pork belly was soft and tender! Will highly recommend this healthy rice set to those who are in the Bedok area! #BurppleMajulahMakan

The once-trending Plum & Rice made a tough business direction recently to stop selling their Japanese umeboshi rice sets and through this rebranding, they are now called Prawn & Mee.

Run by three young hawkers, they took a bold move to set up Plum & Rice in a local cuisine dominated hawker centre in Bedok.

Braised Pork Belly with Plum Rice ($4)

Plum & Rice Set ($5.90) not including the fried bean curd.

#startyourdayright with pretty pink umeboshi rice with a sour tangy flavour & soft tender flavourful braised pork belly set ($4).

The concept of pink rice and porridge was certainly new to us.

The best kind of comfort food, and i am not talking about that pint of ice cream in my freezer.

Delightful Japanese Fusion Food by 3 Young Hawkerpreneurs

It was the rice that wowed me.

Finally tried this Umeboshi rice from @plumandrice.
