There is a part of me which always treat it as though as it is my last time eating something.

Saw on FB today that Da Jie Famous Wanton Mee will be retiring tomorrow.

Still one of my favorite wanton noodles in Singapore.

My search for old school wanton noodles brought me to Sam Leong Road, to this stall called Da Jie.

Had an odd craving for mushroom noodles so I popped over to Da Jie to be good to myself.

Wanton mee always have a special place in my heart and I will scout for the best if not the bestest ones.

Must Try Their Braised Chicken Feet

Wanton Noodles ($4) – The silky noodles from Da Jie Famous Wanton Mee came glistening with fragrant lard bits and chilli which combined with the insanely succulent and sweet charsiew for a killer umani sucker punch.

The wanton mee is all right, but these chicken feet is just delicious.
