It seems like the lamb hotpot at this eatery is the more popular choice as nearly every table (mostly made up of Chinese nationals) were tucking into it enthusiastically. I don't really eat lamb or mutton all that much, plus we felt like having the 烤鱼, so that's what we got instead.
To be honest, I thought our dish could have done with a bit more salt but otherwise, it was pretty acceptable if you are ok with them frying the fish instead of grilling it. Compared to the more established and popular "Chong Qing Grilled Fish" on Liang Seah Street, this place is also more pricey as they charge separately for all the add-on's of vegetables, mushrooms, beancurd etc. Still it's worth a try if you are in the area and are on the lookout for new things to eat.
