I have been meaning to check @thebackyardbakers after reading several foodie friends rave about them and decided to check them out after a morning seminar in the area.
Backyard Bakers has a daily changing menu with freshly baked goods and toasts. I didn't have time for their smashed avocado toasts but managed to grab some of their popular brownies.
The 74% bittersweet dark chocolate brownie pictured here was luxuriously rich. I loved the crisp corners and soft, moist centres. I do however prefer my baked goods a little less sinfully sweet.
It is a little pricier than expected but I will definitely be back to check out their toasts!
