The vinegar mackerel was one of the more unique dishes we had. A boneless beauty of delicately sourish flesh, it carried a subtle smokiness from having been torched. I found it unnecessary to add on the shoyu and lime as the fish was already full of flavour.
Judging from the appearance of this dish on many tables at Shukuu Izakaya, I guess it's one of their most popular items. The ladies in particular, seem to have a great liking for it.
