Goodwood Park is known for their iconic durian desserts, and I went for just that last month! They were having a Mao Shan Wang and D24 Durian Dessert buffet at Coffee Lounge, and it made for a decadent treat. Yes, everything on this plate is durian flavoured!

My favourites at the buffet were the 𝐌𝐒𝐖 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞, 𝐌𝐒𝐖 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞 as well as the 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭! The cake was light and fluffy, paired generously with the durian frosting. The crepe likewise was stuffed full of the durian filling, and was so shiok to eat! At some point, I felt like I was just eating durian pengat nonstop because of the filling to skin ratio. Lastly, the tart was a surprising combination that I loved! It reminded me of the traditional peanut candies that we used to eat during Chinese New Year, and went surprisingly well with the durian.

Because this was my first meal of the day, it got undoubtedly jelat after awhile. They do offer the dessert buffet a-la-carte but also offer pairings with their mains. Thankfully, I opted for the 3-course Degustation Menu ($62++ per person). Swipe to see the mains I had! Take note the serving sizes are really small but it helps to balance out the desserts.
