First Thai is one of those places to eat with family or with groups of friends, mainly because it makes sense to order more and share - each dish is amazing albeit in large portions. Been here multiple times, but here we've ordered the olive fried rice, spicy basil minced pork and the seafood tomyum soup. The fried rice was fragrant and tasty (and importantly, it wasn't too oily as with most other fried rice). The meat was slightly salty but was complemented well when eaten with the olive rice. The tomyum soup at First Thai isn't too spicy, with the highlights being the sour, galangal and lemongrass flavours and scents. (Add more Chilli if you prefer). All in all, would rate First Thai 8.5/10, but only because the price can get pretty steep if you over order.
