Tender beef cubes stewed in red wine, caramelised bacon pieces, carrots and valrhona chocolate. Really enjoyed the richness of that gravy which carried a chocolaty hint for me. This was in contrary to what the crew said during the dish recommendation, that the taste of valrhona would be subtle as it was only used to marinate the beef cubes. So maybe itโs psychological?๐ As the portion was small (since it is a Frapas= French tapas) and lacked a carb, I thought a potato mash would be an ideal side dish to make the dish more filling and complete:)
