Korean BBQ: Thinly Sliced Beef
On another oh-so-hungry-i-can-eat-a-horse day, i decided to eat at Mixed Grains again, a Korean restaurant at Downtown Walnut Creek near Locust St. The menu is always overwhelming and i had only an hour lunch break before i needed to go back to work.
Fortunately my close confidant and loving friend @anneserene at LA helped me out. I sent her a snapshot of the menu and asked her help to me pick out a dish to eat. I have never done this before, asking help haha. She took awhile, and so, being impatient, i called her and asked her her opinion. (She said she sent her reply, i had u took too long! lol) She chose the Sliced Beef for me which i was real happy with. Case solved.
{thank you honey!} The beef was really amazing when it arrived. Thinly sliced, well marinated but not overwhelmingly salty, and tender. I ate it with some lettuce and bean sauce (which was so good i had to ask the name) and on occasion i ate it with some mixed rice.
Plus, a Korean restaurant will almost always bring you 7 different sidedishes plus soup! Super worth it eating at a Korean Resto! ๐
