Price $11~. Forgot what this cake was exactly called but it's earl grey flavored and it's a cake so in just going to call it early grey cake. It was hugely amazing. The strong earl grey aroma really fills your sense when you take the first bite (or in fact, any other bites because the aroma just keeps coming). The earl grey smell is, however, not overpowering. It is soft and delightful. Leaving you, curiously, with an increasing appetite with every bit you take. We have also ordered some other cakes (eg strawberry shortcake) but they REALLY pale in comparison to this. I went with a few friends and the consensus was unanimous. Always good to treat yourself to this soft and delightful treat at the end of the day, the week, or when you are taking a short leave. And on a side note: for those who don't already know, TWG is not set up in 1837 (despite it having the '1837' name being displayed prominently atop its logo. It was set up within the last decade or so. And the '1837' merely represents the tea trade in Singapore. Minus points for their deceptive marketing.
