Found 1 minute away from Taiseng MRT, Cafe Flame is well known for its 4 tier cheesy pagoda due to an advert by a popular food blogger, which also explains the strong BBQ smell in the cafe, and despite opened windows, ventilation was really bad. Went there at 8pm and it was filled with people and the design of the place made the place pretty noisy with voices echoing about the place. Opted for the western menu, got a salmon on waffles ($12.90+), and the waffles were a miss, soggy and cold. The truffle fries were freshly fried and the 'fried chicken wings' were terrible as seen from the picture. 2 appetizers for $18, it was really quite a rip off for the substandard food. BBQ chicken was also $12.90+. Sadly will not visit again, it was not value for money at all and very overpriced. Coupled with the bad ventilation and noisy atmosphere, along with servers which were hard to call over, I wouldnt recommend this cafe.
