Since we were already here to try Victor Veggie, we also tried this other vegetarian stall that had a whole menu of stewed soups and rice. Really loved the mushroom rice, it was so fragrant and savoury, mixed in with bits of mushrooms and mock meat. Had a hard time deciding on which rice to go for as there’s 6 different ones! The other options were pumpkin rice, black eyed peas with black sesame and seaweed brown rice, etc.

Soup wise, we got to try this mushroom, dried longan and black beans soup. There weren’t that many mushrooms though, but they were very generous with the beans beans. Though it was really hearty and comforting, I prefer more savoury soups in general, so this was a tad too sweet for me. Will definitely be back to try the others though!
