Been to Taiwan so many times but didn't try any 官财板 (thick toast stuffed with ingredients as seen) ; in this night market it seems like most stalls give a free cup of red tea (which are usually good!). There were so many flavours to choose from. Our black pepper beef was tasty, everything about this piping hot ingredient was right very flavourful and the crunchy cabbage below was a refreshing contrast. The golden bread was a little too oily but 4 of us shared one so it was ok. Pretty sure this is different from the traditional toast though. Heading to Tainan soon for the best 官财板!
