When there’s only one dish in a stall, you can be sure that it’s either very good or very bad. Luckily for us, the mentaiko salmon rice ($10) was very good! The mentaiko sauce was generous and went well with the soft salmon, the sous vide egg was made flavourful by the furikake, and while blue rice looks weird, it tasted good (not much flavour given that butterfly pea has a very slight sweet taste but that is probably for the best). All the ingredients came together for a very delicious lunch - well worth the special trip we made to have it.
