It was quite intriguing to witness the contrasting fortunes of two wanton mee rivals situated across the street from each other.

Tsim Chai Kee served just noodles with three different toppings – shrimp wonton, beef slices, or/and fish ball.

Unreal succulent wanton, giant handmade fish balls, springy beef pieces on your noodles?

Throwback to when we spent our time eating the famous Bib Gourmand wanton mee at Tsim Chai Kee while waiting for Mak's Noodles across the street to open.

If only you can get such fresh noodles in singapore...
