I've heard of these famous tar sar piahs and finally got a chance to try them. It's an old school coffee shop, with the tau sar piahs baked freshly in ovens at the back. You have a choice between sweet and salty, and I bought 6 salty ones. They came piping hot in a box, with an irresistible aroma. They're flaky, buttery, fragrant and oh-so-delicious. No more going to Malaysia to buy tau sar piah. I dare say this is the best tau sar piah I have ever eaten. They were still good 3 days after I bought them!
