Soi 19 seems to be one of the more famous supper spots along Upper Thomson, as the stall gets pretty crowded after 10 pm when other eateries have shut their doors! We were there at 10 pm on a weekend night and it got increasingly crowded as the night passed, and for good reason - the stall serves a cheap and yummy bowl of wanton mee!

The noodles were very QQ (springy) and they were not overly soggy, which we really enjoyed! Furthermore, the noodles were pretty flavourful as they were coated in a generous serving of shallot and sesame oil! There were quite a lot of ingredients as well - fried wanton, char siew and fried Thai fishcakes, which complemented the noodles pretty well!

The picture shows the large portion, which comes with more noodles and ingredients! Honestly, for the serving size, the price of $5.50 is quite a steal! 😁
