Have been having lunch quite frequently at Amoy/Maxwell food centre as my best friend (boss) works around there. She didn't like to queue alone, so she would wait for me to accompany her to try food with long queue.

Today, we decided to try the famous Noodle's Story. Before it was even open, it had already received a 10pax order. We waited till 11.15am for their command to start queueing. To our surprise, there were 4-5 customers waiting nearby before we arrived lol

We were pushed to being the fifth in the queue immediately. At least we have each other to talk cock with.

Instead of $5.50 that was quoted by most burpees, smallest size was priced at $7. Expensive but the ingredients used had made it look worth the price.

Boss commented that the egg had a sweet taste; the soup was awesomely thick and delicious; wantons had a whole fresh prawn in it; noodles were ramen-like. It was a fusion of Japanese and Hong Kong cuisine. My boss couldn't finish her share and I barely made it, so it was quite filling.

Not the usual wanton mee, its uniqueness has spilled over to its price 😂
